Though there is no dress code for the candidates appearing for JEE Main 2018, however here we have provided the dress materials for Boys and Girls which they can wear comfortably and confidently on the day of the examination:

For Boys:You can wear T-shirt & Jeans along with Sandal.

For Girls:You can wearTop or T-shirt & Jeans or Leggings along with Loafer or Flat.

Given below are the list of prohibiteddress materials/ as they were not allowed in JEE Advanced 2016:

Full sleeve shirt

Kurta

Brooch

High Heels

Shoes

Also, avoid wearing something which requires a belt as they might ask you to remove it.

Goggles

you should not carry any of the following items inside the center centre:

Mobile Phone

Calculator

Digital Watch

Log Table

Book

Notebook

Bits of papers, etc.

Tea, coffee, cold drinks or snacks

You can wear the uniform if you don't feel awful

There is no compulsion that you have to wear uniform to the exam. Some institutes might ask you to wear them. But basically anything will do, you'll be recognised by your id cards and/or hall tickets.

So it's up to your choice, what you wish to wear.
