Dear Somnath, generally many students have this issue. But don't be confuse with this. Every engineering filed is unique in its own, it totally depends on your interest which you want to choose.

I am mentioning you some of the fields that have bright scope in future -

  • Electronics Engineer

The job of an Electronics and communication engineer is very demanding. Here you will have to design logic circuits for the changing world. You have to come up with new ideas on daily basis.

Present as well as future of an electronic & communication engineer is very bright. It is always an evergreen branch. So an electronic engineer has not to bother about its future.

  • Software Engineer

A software engineer is expected to write programs for various applications. It could be for system as well as application programs.

Present of a software engineer is good but future is even more exciting. As you see, IT industry is growing more and more software engineers would be needed in future.

  • Civil Engineer

A civil engineers job is not new. It is perhaps the oldest branch of engineering. Civil engineers have a great responsibility of creating cities which are modern and well planned.

Present of a civil engineer is good. Few years back the demand for civil engineers was quite less but in future because of urbanization of the country more and more civil engineers would required.

  • Electrical Engineer

Electrical engineer is also an old branch. Electrical engineers need to build electrical equipments for all purposes.

Both present and future demand of electrical engineers would remain steady. Neither it will increase nor decrease.

  • Nuclear Engineer

In this profession, nuclear engineer has to design, monitor and maintain the nuclear reactors and power plant.

Although present of a nuclear engineer is not so good but in future as energy demand grows our country will need more nuclear plants hence more nuclear engineer.

  • Petroleum Engineer

Petroleum engineer has a very tough job. You must be ready to go certain places which are hostile. In other words you must be prepared to get your hands dirty.

Present of a petroleum engineer is good and future is also exciting. As developing countries needs more fuel so there will be demand for more oil.

  • Agricultural Engineer

Agricultural engineering is actually not very much popular among students but it can be evergreen career opportunity in future. Here engineer has to ensure that how agriculture yield or output could be increased with less expenditure.

Future of agricultural engineering is great because for food security we have to grow more food grains in small area. So it will need talented agricultural engineer.

  • Automobile Engineer

Automobile engineering is also a great profession. Younger generation is fascinated by automobile engineering. It is a new branch compared to electronics or electrical.

Present of automobile engineering is OK but future would be even more promising. Due to global warming there is a demand of more fuel efficient cars. So automobile engineers are required in great number.

  • Aerospace engineer

Aerospace engineering is not new but one of exciting career opportunities. Aerospace engineer would have to design latest aero planes with cutting edge technology.

As more and more people want to travel faster we have to build more commercial airplanes. Moreover, in defense sector we need good fighter planes. Hence demand would be great in private as well as defense sector.

  • Mechanical Engineer

A mechanical engineer needs to design, manufacture and test various equipments used in industrial production such as generators, engines, turbines etc.

Mechanical engineering is an evergreen branch of engineering. Both present and future would be the same.

I hope I have cleared your confusion.

All the best

Hope this helps

Hello,

As you want to go for engineering but you are not able to decided your field fir that.

Don't worry!!

I am also an engineering student and i have opted CSE. I wasn't a student of computer in my intermediate but now i am doing and scoring well in this field.

CSE has a great scope. IT is incomplete without it.

All the world in the we live is full of internet which is directly or indirectly related to Computer science and engineering.

So, i myself prefer you to go for CSE.

I hope this would help you. For further queries please feel free to write me down in the comment box.

Dear Aspirant,

You can join any field in engineering.

All are of equal importance.

Sit and. Relax. In which field you are more interested.

If you want to join software company ,you can join CSE or IT.

Or you want to do job in public sector then you can choose electrical, mechanical or civil

You can do better in any field by your hard work

It's not tough to choose branch.

Just think once about the today world scenario and job.

Thankyou

Hope it helps
