Dear Aspirant

The Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) is conducted by the Indian Air Force. The test is held every year in February and August, to pick-up Class-I Officers in Flying and Ground Duties (Technical and Non-Technical).

To be eligible for giving AFCAT you should have Physics Chemistry and Maths as your 3 main subjects and have an aggregate of minimum 60%. So, No you can't give AFCAT as you are not eligible.

For Ground Duties, any stream is fine.

However, for Flying Duties it is compulsory to have PCM as your main 3.

Hope this helps

Hello,

To be eligible for AFCAT candidate must have qualified 10+2 with 60% in Maths and Physics. As you didn't have Maths in your 10+2 level you are not eligible for AFCAT. The Indian Air Force (IAF) prescribes the AFCAT 1 2022 eligibility criteria in online mode on the official notification. The AFCAT notification is released on the official website afcat.cdac.in. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria of AFCAT 2022, will be able to successfully be accepted for the AFCAT selection process.
