Thanks for the question. Every branch has it’s own significance . But if you are talking about ECE or EEE, it's like two similar things. Where the difference arises is: EEE is Electrical Engineering and ECE is Electronics and Communications Engineering. EEE involves electronics and electrical study while ECE involves study of electronics and some part of communications.

In core companies, demand of EEE is more in comparison to ECE. Whereas ECE students can apply for IT companies as well. EEE students don’t have much scope in IES while ECE students have. ECE can get govt jobs with high probability than EEE.

One cannot make the difference which one is better, you know what is good dor you, where your interest area lies, what you want to do- communications and electronics or electronics and electrical.

Placements for both ECE and EEE are good, as there are many companies recruiting for both the domains. But generaly ECE recruiting companies are slightly more. 

If you are confused between these two branches befause of placements. Then please remove this factor.

What is more important is your interest. So please find where your interest is and pursue your engineering in that branche, and if you are good at it, you will eventually be placed in some good company.
