Yes it is compulsory to give practicals in HSC Maharashtra Boards. These practical will test your how you apply the knowledge which you have gained theoreticaly. Yes, it is about marks, but it is also about knowledge. Getting a good score in practical will also improve your overall score, so I suggest that you do not skip your practicals. It will only help you to clear your exams and get a good overall score in the subjects.
