In the context of the JEE Main application form, the question regarding "School/College - Government or Private" means whether the school or college you attended is owned and managed by the government (public sector) or a private entity (private sector). If you attended a school that is run by the government, funded by government agencies or falls under government administration, you should select ‘Government.’ If you attended a school that is privately owned and managed, where funding and administration are not provided by the government, you should select ‘Private.’
