NCC, i.e. National Cadet Corps is India's military cadet corps which offers students in schools and colleges with basic military training. It is comprised by Army, Navy and Air Force. Its goal is to develop studnets into responsible and patriotic citizens. It is a Tri-Services Organisation that is dedicated to training the country's youth into disciplined citizens. It is open to school and college students on a voluntary basis. Basic military training in small arms and drill is provided to the Cadets. Once the Officers and Cadets have completed their training, they have no liability or obligation to serve in the military.
