Hi, no a gap year does not matter as long as you have a valid reason and proof to show for the reason of the gap. Extended education does not matter too. TCS has been recruiting employees on the basis of their knowledge and experience. If the 6 years of experience is related to the work you will be taking up there then you are good to go.
