In the JoSAA counselling process, I had allocate a seat in a round and I have chosen the option float. Suppose now If I got a better seat in a subsequent round can I float it again?

Dear student,

If you got a seat in josaa counselling, then you will have the option to freeze, float or slide.
You can use this option only for one time. If you choose to float your seat then it will remain in floated position untill you get a higher preference seat and freeze it. Otherwise it will be remain floated is you do not freeze it.

Also if you get any higher preference branch and if you have floated it once before and again want to float it then there is no need to again float it. Because if you do not accept or freeze, it will remain floated.

Also note that you can only do this only till 5th round counselling.
