Solution : There is an error in the option 3.

Put "were" before "taken away" because in this sentence "the objects" is the plural form of the subject.

"Things" is plural therefore were is used.

Hence the correct sentence is
During the interrogation the officer learnt that not only the office was looted but also the things were taken away.
