Hey Niranjan !
Of course the syllabus as well books of State as well as Central Boards are different.
Although their main aim lies in imparting knowledge to all, but the syllabus is different from that of CBSE.
You might face changed patterns too in ways of formal or informal writings.
Accordingly, UP State and CBSE Board quite differs in their subjects of Hindi and English, if you are preparing for the Competitive Exams, it won't matter much as the Science syllabus is more or less same.
