Hi Shubham, both the branches are pretty good everywhere. An Ece student most often then not ends up having a career in IT industry.

One can be said to be better than the other only on basis of college. A better college which offers you one of the branch is a better option.

In my opinion, you should choose your branch according to your area of interest.

I would suggest you to go for it course .

Since it's an evolving branch there are plenty of options like getting a good high paying software job or doing masters in abroad .

It's beneficial for you . Generally it has higher cutoff than ece .

Even ECE is  good in UPTU so don't worry if you are interested in it go for it even there are many good jobs available
