If you want to take admission in engineering colleges on the basis of class 12th you can apply for TNEA, REAP, MP B.E admission, Punjab and Sastra University.

Seats are reserved for other state students as well.

There are so many colleges who can provide you engineering without entrance exam, and they are private colleges with good infrastructure faculty placement and packages but you must have 50 or 60% in your graduation

There are some Private Universities which are very good. They provide good Infrastructure, Faculty and Placements.You should choose a college which give you opportunity to work in live projects and give you good exposure. Some of them also offer admission on the basis of your 12th marks or on the basis of the test conducted by themselves. You may browse some web sites and check their details like Lovely Professional University, KIIT University, Nirma University etc.

See Aftab, the thing is, I'm yet to hear about a college which will accept a candidate without an entrance exam.
The meaning of this is, you must "appear" for the entrance in order to get admission. Securing a good rank isn't necessary as there are management quotas in private colleges.
