Cadmium is a naturally toxic metal. Excessive exposure to cadmium can cause death.
Effects-
  • The bones become soft (osteomalacia), lose bone mineral density (osteoporosis) and become weaker.
  • Flu symptoms (chills, fever, and muscle pain) and can damage the lungs.
  • Kidney, bone and lung disease.
  • It's also carcinogenic.
  • Not only human health, cadmium cause severe diseases to plants, animals, micro-organisms, fishes etc.
