You haven't mentioned whose application form you are referring to in your question. Anyhow, if instead of female it is registered as a male candidate then it may cause some issues. If you have the option of editing your application form or if later the correction portal opens then you can make changes to your application form accordingly. If in case there's no such option then you may contact the authorities through the helpline number which must be provided on the website of the college or the exam conducting body. You can even e-mail to the helpline e-mail but try contacting through phone call first.
