Usually invigilator's do sign on the admit card in the alloted area. If he/she did not signed you could have reminded him. It happens that sometimes you have produce admit card during counselling, if they do not see the invilgilator's sign they might doubt you. Then they should check the attendance register and all to proceed which takes much time.
