Hi Reader

It depends on the path you want to take after Class 10th. For PCM you'll require a strong foundation in Maths and Physics, more appropriately in Mathematics. If it is a chapter of Science and it is related to physics then I would suggest to read it out since it will be required in Class 12th.

Hey!

If you are asking whether the reduced chapters in 10th class are important for Science stream subjects in 11th standard, then yes even the reduced chapters are very important as till 10th class, the science chapters are basic and core which are important for the basic understanding of the subject which in higher classes, 11th and 12th will be taught in detail. Students would be required to study all those topics in great detail in 11th standard. So, each and every chapter and topic of science in 10th standard is very important no matter whether they have come in the 10th examination or not.
