If  you are in class 12 , then you  you can give Neet examination only if you are appearing for board examination but if you have just moved from 11 to 12th then you are not eligible for it.

For example,

If you are class 12th right now  and you are going to appear for 12th board examination 2021 in coming months ( as board exams have been postponed) then  you can appear in NEET 2021 as 12th appearing students are eligible but in case if you have just passed class 11th and moved to 12th  this year in 2021 then you are not eligible for neet 2021.

Neet eligibility criteria is provided below:-

As per, Neet 2021 eligibility criteria to be eligible you must be either appearing for 12th board examination 2021 or should have passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English and must have got:-

• at least  50  % in aggregate of PCB  i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology  in 12th examination  if belongs to general category

• at least  40%  in aggregate of PCB if belongs to st/Obc/ Sc

• at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of pwd candidates to be eligible.

Also,

* to be eligible for neet 2021 one has to be at least 17 years old or more by 31st December 2021

* There is no upper age limit for Neet 2021

* There's no limit for the maximum number of attempts/times one can appear in NEET.

You can sit for NEET examination if you are qualifying on that year. For example, if you are going to give your 12th board exam in 2021, then you are also eligible for the NEET 2021.
