No, Maths is not required if you wish to apply for Biological Sciences through IIT JAM. Following is the educational qualification required for you to be eligible, as notified by IISC this year:

One must  have minimum of first class or equivalent in Bachelor’s or an equivalent degree in Physical, Chemical or Biological Sciences (including Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Veterinary Sciences, and Agricultural Sciences)

Or

A minimum of first class or equivalent in BE/B Tech degree.
