Let me first tell you a bit about the last year cut off for Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh so that you can get a rough idea.

The opening and closing rank for round 1 for the mechanical stream was 1958 and 10908.

The opening and closing rank for round 7 which is almost the last round for the mechanical stream was 7259 and 32505.

So, wait till the ranks are announced.
