Hello!
The minimum of 75 percent marks criteria had been cancelled in 2020 and 2021 due to Covid-19 pandemic. However due to the hardships being faced by the students due to closure of schools and colleges, students are demanding to continue this criterion for 2022 as well.
At present, the eligibility criteria for JEE Mains 2022 states that you have to pass Class 12 or any equivalent examination. If you want admission in IITs, NITs, IIITs and CFTIs, you have to secure minimum 75% marks (65% for SC/ST category candidates). The eligibility criteria of JEE Advanced 2022 states that you have to pass Class 12 with a minimum of 75 percent marks for general category and 65% for SC/ST/PwD category candidates.
