Yes they are without any doubt because if you see for most of the entrance exams the minimum 12th aggregate required is 75 though if you are trying for a college which consider merit based admission like DU then 85 wouldn't be enough but the fact is after class 12th no one is going to ask about you 12th percentage they play no role so 85 is descent percentage overall :)

If it was state board I would have said it's a good expectation bit since it's cbse board, it's just an average score.
