If you belong to general and OBC, then it is not a good score. Other then general, if you have any other quota then you have good chance to get NITs and IIITs. But still if you have an attempt then try again and harder because from 88 to 98, that’s not that much tough. Just it’s the game of practice and planning.

See it depends upon your category because if you belongs to General category or EWS category then it is not that good percentile which can take you to any of the NITs or IIITs but yes if you belongs to SC/ST/PwD then it definitely a good percentile for you.
