Until now, they have been 3 different entrance examinations for admission to MBBS. They were AIIMS MBBS, JIPMER MBBS and NEET. Now AIIMS MBBS and JIPMER MBBS have been scrapped in favour of NEET which means NEET will be the sole entrance examination for admission to MBBS course across all Indian Medical Colleges, Now NEET is the mandatory exam for studying MBBS abroad. This is only for Undergraduate courses. The post graduate courses still have their own entrance examinations.

Hello,

From 2020 onwards, there shall be only one entrance test for admission to MBBS Course and it's NEET.

AIIMS and JIPMER used to conduct their entrance test which no longer will take place.

So, to answer your question yes! there will be only one entrance test for admission to undergraduate medical course, i.e,, MBBS and it's NEET.
