Yes you will be benefitted because of maths. In your academics you'll have to study mathematics like calculus, algebra, statistics etc. So I'll suggest you have good command on maths so that you'll have to spend less time on maths in the entire course.

The requirement of the forensic science includes chemistry,biology,physics ,geology, psychology.

So for this course maths is needed for the calulacalcu purpose . It will be needed as part of it for the analysis of the crime scene .
