Previously the seats for MBBS and BDS are also filled by EAMCET examination.But due to the orders received by central government,the seats for MBBS and BDS are being filled with NEET examination at present.Recently aayurvedic seats are also being filled on the bases of NEET examination.

From 2017 onwards the APEAMCET is meant only for aayurvedic,Nursing,agriculture,pharma-D,Physiotherapy,BVSC&AH courses and courses like Bsc botony,Bsc zoology,Bzc e.t.c,
