Hi Gautham,

BMS College is situated in Bangalore, Karnataka and is said to be one of the very best institutions in the state. It offers a Bachelor's course of B.E. in Mechanical Engineering which is of 4 years and the fees are about Rs. 2.38 Lakh total.

The placement rate is about 50% in this college and the highest salary offered has been around 7 LPA , the lowest being 3 LPA. The average package offered is 5 LPA. However, students of this college have testifies thta the placement rate of the mechanical and civil departments are on the lower side but if you are talented and are ready to work hard, you will definitely get a great job right off the bat.

Reputed companies like Google, IBM, Philips India, Samsung, Amazon.com, Vodafone, Walmart etc. visit the campus every year to offer students jobs and Internships.
