Is Calot's triangle and hepatobiliary triangle same ?

Hello Student,

Calots triangle is basically an i sosceles triangle on the common hepatic duct along with the cystic artery and cystic duct forming its sides..

Hepatobilliary triangle formed by c ommon hepatic duct , cystic duct and the inferior surface of the liver is often mistaken as Calot's Triangle.

Therefore no they are not the same.
