HELLO

HRD minister announced that they will not consider 12 th marks for jee advance examination but this is not applicable for jee mains.  To get a seat in IITs 12 th marks are not important but to appear for jee main in the month of september (most probably) 12 th marks will be considered as qualifying factor.

HRD ministry announced that the IITs have removed the 75% marks requirement in class 12th which means that 75% marks eligibility criteria for appearing in JEE advance has been removed and candidates who dont have 75% marks in 12th will also be eligible for admission in IITs.
In the official announcement,it was nowhere mentioned that this will also be applicable for NITs/IIITs/GFTIs, hence its not applicable for JEE mains.
