Yes, it is required but when you go to attend the counseling as there is no need of caste certificate at the time of Jee registration as the form will be online so there will be an option which will ask whether you belong to any reserved category or not, just there you will have to opt yes or no option.

No, cast certificate is not required at the time of JEE Main registration you will need it at the time of counselling.
