CAT exam is seemingly tough only because of the many applicants and limited IIM seats. The entrance exam to IIT admissions for MBA is through CAT while engineering admissions are through JEE Advanced which is a tough as it requires subject knowledge. A comparison between the two would be futile because of the lack of similarities in course or admissions.
