Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you, yes CBSE  term 2 examination is of utmost compulsion as average of term 1 and term 2 will be considered at the time of result preparation so you should definitely give both term 1 and term 2 exam so that you can pass your class 12th examination else if you leave the exam then you will be failed.
