Yes, your class 10th marks are important for KVPY examination .

This is because,

As you are in class  11th , to be eligible for KVPY, stream SA, one needs at least 75 % in aggregate of Math and Science in your 10th board examination to be eligible while those who belong to sc or st  category needs  at least 65 % in aggregate of Math and Science in 10th board examination to be eligible

So, to be  eligible you need to fulfill this criteria with your 10th marks to be eligible which makes  your class 10th board marks important for your KVPY.
