Is CLAT compulsory for taking admission in mumbai university for law?

No, CLAT is not compulsory for admission in Mumbai University for Law courses. CLAT is an entrance test for admission to only the National Law Universities or NLUs in India. Admission to various  other colleges is done through their own procedures. Mumbai University as well as various colleges under Mumbai University take admission through their own entrance test MH CET LAW for both 5 year as well as 3 year law courses. This entrance test is for admission to law courses in almost all major colleges in Maharashtra. So for admission in Mumbai University, you need to apply for MH CET and not CLAT
