HiiNo clearing JEE Mains and qualifying for Advance is not same.Clearing Mains means that you have scored more than the required cutoffs and are eligible for admissions in All engineering colleges including NITs, CFTIs etc and also including many private colleges.But Qualifying for Advance means that you qualify JEE Main and secure a position among the top 2,24,000 candidates (including all categories).Refer to following link to know about eligibility for JEE Advance

Yes, clearing the JEE MAINS and qualifying for the advance is the same thing.
As you have passed and clearly got marks in Mains paper, you are allowed to give jee advance examination.
Though, its tougher as compared to the mains paper.
