Dear Abdul, before you join CA Foundation, there is a mandatory study period of 4 months. Students usually join Classes specifically for CA as there are no CA colleges in India. The curriculum, syllabus and marking pattern makes it difficult for home or individual study. So students prefer coaching classes and we would suggest you to join one as well. But if you think, you can manage it all by yourself, you may too.

CA Foundation has 4 subjects:
  1. Principles and Practices of Accounting
  2. Business lawa and business correspondence and reporting
  3. Business Mathematics and Logical Reasoning and Statistics
  4. Business Economics and Business and Commercial Knowledge
First 2 papers are subjective and the last 2 are objective. If you plan on preparing on your own, have a clear study plan. Plan to cover the entire syllabus and make sure you have long term and short term goals in preparation. Leave the last month for revision and try working on as many mock papers as possible.
