First of all I would like to request you to mention the name of the college for which you are talking about because without the name I won't be able to guide in a accurate and organised manner.

On a general basis maximum of the colleges offer hostels but it is not mandatory to be compulsory. Many students go college from their home too if they are locals in the college.
