If we compare the compartment exams to normal exams compartment is slightly tougher. This is because you are getting second chance to clear the exams and also you have got more time to prepare for a single subject. It is also generally seen that the questions are not repeated in compartment exams. Also if one have failed previously then it means that he/she do not have good hd over the subject , this also makes compartments tough.
