As per your query basic Math is comparatively easy or can say basic as compared to standard Math.

Standard Math consist of advanced Mathematics problems whereas in case of basic Mathematics, it consists of Basic problems so Standard Math exam is hard.

It is not necessary and never mentioned anywhere that the compartment exam are always hard.

See, it may be hard or easy or medium . It is not that it will always be hard..
