Hello,

No, not really. The demand is pretty high for people with computer science degrees and the college output of students is a little below the demand. If you plan on pursuing a degree, make sure you get as many internships and international opportunities as most of the world today is dependent on Computers.

Dear Aspirant,

We couldn't say that computer science is overrated just in India since it is overrated around the world because of its high demand and usage perhaps with the countable cons there are many pros that we can consider few of them were listed below:

  • Computer science is evolving rapidly with time.
  • It is used in almost all the sectors now.
  • It is now possible to detect many diseases which are terrific in nature before it shows its high effect on a living cell.
  • It reduced the complexity of many regular tasks in day to day life.
And so on....

Because of all such things i personally feel there is nothing wrong in overating computer science but we shouldn't let any other domain go down as well afcourse India is still a developing country it May take time to stabilize the importance of every field or art.

Hope it is informative
All the best
