Hello Aspirant. 

CRL is the rank which you have secured in JEE MAIN under general category. All people who comes under general category are given CRL rank and your CRL rank is the rank among all general students (excluding other category people). CRL ranks are given to only general people by which the seats are filled alias “ AIR” rank. AIR ranks or CRL ranks are given to general people. Both are same for general students whether you call it AIR or CRL or general rank all three have same meanings(General is not a category).
