I am also an engineering student and according to my experience i have gathered that Computer Science Engineering and Computer Science and Technology are almost the same. Actually there is no naming system for any kind of course that a university or college provides. It also depends whether the university/college is private or government. 

For example: Most of the private universities don't provide BTECH degrees , What they do provide is BE degree that is Bachelor of Engineering.

So, it is safe to say that as the syllabus for most of the university is changing every year, it all depends upon the syllabus and your goal.
