CUSAT CAT is moderately difficult, not as tough as JEE Advanced but slightly above board level. NCERT is very important for Physics and Chemistry, especially theory and formulas, but you should also practice numerical problems beyond NCERT. For Maths, the level is close to JEE Main, so JEE Main - level preparation is recommended. Practising NCERT MCQs along with CUSAT CAT previous year questions is good, but adding extra problem practice will improve your chances.
