Now a days, there is growing demand to save recurring medical costs by personal monitoring of health and wellness. These include storage, comparison  and sharing of metrics associated with sleep, reproductive cycles, blood glucose levels, drug levels.

Digital health is very useful in screening of new diseases among the population, testing  for the presence of the existing diseases in the population, identification of biomarkers for Research and Development by the scientists. The data collected from such digital health applications can be studied for further improvement in the healthcare systems. However, it is essential to use the collected data sensibly while maintaining proper privacy guidelines.
