DY patil college of engineering formerly known as university of pune is located at akurdi , pune.

It was established in 1984 with the aim of imparting quality educayion.Approved by AICTE and recognozed by DTE  , affiliated to savitribai phule pune university . It is also accredited by NAAC with A grade . And A grade is only accredited to good colleges. Also , this college has good infrastructure   , faculty and facilities like library  , lsbs , computer centres , transport etc. 

We can , in brief say that it is indeed a great college.
