CEG or College of engineering at Anna University is a renowned and an old technical which is the best part about it as it has got a strong Alumni base, so this college is perfect in terms of placements as compared to newly opened IITs.

Electrical engineering is a  good branch to study here. Also, Faculty in this college is not that bad Or say is good but not as best as in IITs. Also, IITs are quite good in terms of exposure you get for studying and project making, as there is a lot of support from the college.

But it all depends on your jee advanced rank that which IIT you will be getting in the coming future.

All I can suggest you now is that you must focus on your JEE paper rather than asking for the pros and cons of various colleges as you can do that in the month of June when counselling for colleges usually starts.
