No, it can not be declared like that. There are many better career options available which are at par with (and some times better than) engineering career.

We can find quite a good number of people who have made a better career options in the area of i) Medicine, ii) Psychology, iii) Civics, iv) law, v)Agriculture, vi) Fine Arts vii) Arts, viii) Science, ix) Commerce, x) Para Medicine, xi) Film Industry,etc.

However, engineering can certainly create very interesting career opportunities (especially after the make in India concept).
