Dear Meghna, this depends on your target for the future. If you want to appear for Entrance exams like AIIMS, JIPMER, NEET, JEE, etc you should have completed your 10+2 with relevant subjects but also should have studied English for 2 reasons. First, AIIMS needs you to have studied English as a core subject and score a required aggregate against your Category. For JEE though there is no mention that English needs to be a mandatory subject, because the medium of instruction is English in B.Tech/B.Arch, it takes an important role.
