Is GAT for BFTech different from GAT for B. Design?

Hey,
GAT for B.FTech and B.Des is a little different.

For B.Des , there will be 100 questions and duration will be 3 hours. No negative marking is there.The test will include questions from following topics:

  • English comprehension (25)
  • Quantitative ability (20)
  • Communication ability (25)
  • Analytical ability (15)
  • General knowledge and current affairs (15)

For B.F.Tech , there will be 150 questions and 0.25 negative marking will be there for wrong answers.
Duration is 3 hours and the topics from which questions will be asked are as follows:

  • Quantitative ability
  • Communication ability and English comprehension
  • Analytical and Logical Ability
  • General Knowledge and Current Affairs
  • Case study

For B.F.Tech, the admission will be completely done on the basis of GAT.
For B.Des, the admission will be done on the basis of CAT(50%) ,GAT(30%) and situation test (20%).
