yes, jee advance test is considered as one of the toughest exam for engineering entrance in India. jee advance test is conducts by IITs and difficulty level is higher than jee main or any other state or Institute wise entrance test. you must start preparation from a early stage , beginning of 12th course. some of the points I have mentioned would help you to bring a good score:
1. clear your conception of Maths, physics chemistry.
2. solve the papers starting from easy to moderate then hard level. so first start solving jee main papers then once your grip is good at solving jee main problem ,try to solve the previous years advance papers.
3. select a good practice or mcq books , try to solve the 1 book for each subjects.
4. keep the time tracking, your shortcut tricks and solving for problems should be fast.
5. avoid using calculators since it would not allow at exam center.
6. you must be hard working and patient mind while preparing for jee advance.
7. last thing is you should attempt mock test to get familiarity with questions pattern and exam time environment.
